Logistics and Facilities Assistant

Responsibilities
• Main Responsibilities include:
• Ensure all equipment and tools are within safety standards before sending to the job
• Prepare, package, and track shipments accurately and on time
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping including but not limited to: changing light bulbs, changing ceiling tiles, removing trash, sweeping warehouse floors, and snow removal from walkways
• Prepare shipping documents and issue purchase orders
• Maintain proper location and labeling of all items in inventory
• Accurately receive, record, organize and stock inventoried items
• Order warehouse and packaging supplies as needed
• Prepare trucks and/or trailers for the field with all necessary equipment and accessories
• Perform and track general maintenance and repairs equipment as needed
• Submit inventory counts and reports accurately and on time
• Prepare the company training room for events

Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• At least one year of warehouse and logistics office experience
• Ability to operate company vehicles including forklift, scissor lift and trucks in accordance with all OSHA and company standards
• Moderate (or intermediate) understanding of tools and their use and operation
• Basic experience in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel and Internet
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
• Customer-service oriented
• Highly-organized multi-tasker
• Advanced time management
• The ability to think fast on your feet
